The goal of WP 2 is to provide a quantitative description of the taxonomic, functional and structural diversity of the selected experimental and exploratory plots in European forests.
To achieve this goal, WP 2 will:
• quantify the taxonomic and functional diversity of the forest overstorey (task 2.1 & task 2.2);
• quantify the forest structural diversity (task 2.3 & task 2.4);
• quantify the taxonomic and functional diversity of key-components of forest soils and understoreys associated to forest structure and composition (task 2.5 & task 2.6).
